Development
The City of Pine City is dedicated to promoting decent and affordable housing, marketing sites for redevelopment, cultivating business development and expansion, improving our aging housing stock, and attracting people to the Pine City area. We accomplish this through the preservation and development of the community in accordance with an established comprehensive plan.
Under the direction of the City Council and advisement of the Economic Development Authority (EDA) and Housing Redevelopment Authority (HRA) the City staff and professional consultants assist with city planning, code enforcement, and development activities. These activities include collaborating with community organizations, connecting with members of the Pine City community to meet the needs of the residents and businesses, and creating beautiful, healthy neighborhoods.
