NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PINE CITY – CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Pine City will hold a public hearing to obtain comments and review the following item on November 5 2025, beginning approximately at 5:30 p.m. in the Pine City Community Room located at 300 5th St Se., Pine City, MN 55063.
CONSIDER AN APPLICATION TO THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (DEED) FOR A GRANT UNDER THE MINNESOTA INVESTMENT FUND (MIF) PROGRAM
The City of Pine City is requesting $200,000 to assist with the expansion of Broekema Beltway USA Inc. The funds will be used for the acquisition and installation of new equipment which will result in the creation of jobs.
This is a regularly scheduled 2025 meeting of the City Council, which is held on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.
All interested persons are encouraged to attend and be heard on this matter.
Written testimony will also be accepted at the public hearing. Written comments must be received by November 4, 2025 at 1015 Hillside Avenue SW, Suite 2, Pine City, MN 55063. Specific questions can be directed to Lezlie Sauter at lezlie.sauter@pinecountymn.gov or 320.591.0019.
