Elections
City of Pine City election results can be found on the Secretary of State's election results page.
The City of Pine City is responsible for coordinating elections and assisting residents with any related questions. The city's election headquarters is located at the Pine City Public Library Community Room, 300 5th Street SE.
As of June 1, 2023 a person can vote even if on parole or probation. Felony status does not affect the right to vote as long as you are not serving your sentence in a correctional facility. If you have a felony conviction, you can vote while on work release, home monitoring, or probation/parole.
Dates for the next city-administered elections
- Tuesday, August 11, 2026 - Primary Election
- Tuesday, November 3, 2026 - General election
On those dates, precinct locations are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Early Voting
You may vote in person beginning 46 days before the election at the Auditor's Office, Pine County Courthouse, 635 Northridge Dr NW, Suite 240, Pine City, MN 55063. The typical hours are:
- Monday- Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm
Additionally, if you are unable to enter the courthouse, simply pull into the designated "Curbside Voting" parking space at the Courthouse and call 320-591-1670 and your voting process will be completed by election judges at your vehicle.

Minnesota absentee ballots must be received by Election Day to count.
