NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pine City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to obtain comments and review the following item on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, beginning approximately at 5:00 p.m. at Pine City Library Community Room located at 300 5th Street South, Pine City, Minnesota.

REZONING REQUEST

A rezoning request submitted by Pine County Holdings, LLC will be considered to rezone two parcels from General Business District (GB) to Mixed Use District (MXU). The proposed rezoning is intended to allow development of a mixed commercial and residential project on property located at 11th Street SW and Hillside Avenue SW, parcels 42.0226.000 and 42.0223.000.

This is a regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting, held on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 5:00 p.m.

All interested persons are encouraged to attend and be heard on this matter.

This item will also be brought before the City Council of Pine City at their regular meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.

VARIANCE AND IMPERVIOUS SPACE REQUEST

A request for an impervious surface expansion and a minor subdivision for parcel 42.0217.000, located at 300 1st Avenue SE, will be reviewed. The proposal includes modifying the existing lot configuration and increasing the allowable impervious area on the site.

This is a regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting, held on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 5:00 p.m.

This item will also be brought before the City Council of Pine City at their regular meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.

The City of Pine City is seeking proposals from qualified businesses or individuals licensed by the State of Minnesota as a Certified Building Official (CBO) to provide building inspection and code enforcement services. The selected contractor will ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, fire codes, ordinances, and regulations within the City of Pine City.
